2013 SEMINAR SERIES –
ON EMPTY: BURNOUT, STRESS AND FATIGUE
Adrenals, Thyroid and Important Nutritional Endocrine Relationships
ADVANCED HAIR TISSUE MINERAL ANALYSIS SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP
Helping the tired patient and burnt out athlete regain their mojos
The seminar is a full-day programme:
SUN: 8.30am to 5.30pm (registration from 8.00am)
The seminar, in detail:
All physiological activity affects the endocrine system and thus has an impact no nutritional requirements. Having tested hundreds of thousands of patient’s hair samples for Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), we have found that a large number of reports show a picture of weakened adrenals and an underactive thyroid; resulting in a ‘tired/burnt-out’ patient or athlete.
HTMA has proven itself to be a reliable and effective tool for clinicians when assessing their patient’s health concerns. A key area that HTMA addresses is the neuro-endocrine system. By thoroughly assessing your patient with HTMA, the report will help indicate critical imbalances in their mineral levels. Hence, with HTMA, the practitioner is shown an insight into an under-functioning (or over-stimulated) adrenal and/or thyroid gland.
By attending this seminar, you will gain further knowledge and skills to better equip your clinical practice; with a tool that helps to answer many of the questions as to why your patient is unwell. By incorporating a workshop format in this year’s seminar series, we hope to provide a more practical and hands-on learning experience that will build your confidence with nutrient prescribing.
(CPE/CPD points available)
8:00 – 8:30 am Registration
8:30 – 10:30 am Nutrient Minerals and Heavy Metal Overview Zac Bobrov Technical Director
Nutritional, Additional and Toxic Minerals through HTMA. An in-depth look at mineral ratios and metabolic typing as it relates to the HTMA graph.
10:30 - 11:00 am Morning Tea
11:00 am – 12:30pm Running on Empty: Helping the Tired Patient and Burnt-Out Athlete Regain their Mojos Gary Moller Guest Presenter
Using the HTMA to unravel endocrine and related mysteries commonly encountered in the clinic. Looking at how a picture of a patient can emerge; using mineral excesses, deficiencies or movement of minerals in or out of the tissue cells. Underlying causes for endocrine disturbances and the process to recovery.
12:30 – 1:30 pm Lunch
1:30 – 3:00 pm Continued: Running on Empty Gary Moller Guest Presenter
3:00 – 3:45 pm InterClinical Laboratories Overview Ian Tracton, Director
3:45 – 4:15 pm Afternoon tea
4:15 – 5:15 pm Workshop: Gary Moller and Zac Bobrov
An interactive workshop with all attendees, to assess, discuss and interpret real patient case studies. In groups, attendees will work on signs and symptoms as indicated through HTMA, then develop an intervention based on discussions.
5:15 - 5:30 pm Question Time Gary Moller and Zac Bobrov
5:30 pm Seminar concludes
